World of Tanks Online Game

World of Tanks is a massively multiplayer online game developed by Belarusian business Wargaming.net featuring early to mid-20th century age fighting vehicles.

On 10 June 2013 it was declared that World of Tanks was coming to Xbox Live Arcade on 12 February 2014 as World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition.

Gameplay
The player takes control of one armored vehicle of their picking, and is put into a conflict on a random map, though map choice may change with distinct game styles. The player has control over the vehicle's motion, fire, and can communicate with other players through typed or voice chat, and several preset activities that give tactical directions observable to only their team.

Game modes
The players in World of Tanks can select six main kinds of conflicts: arbitrary conflicts, team-training conflicts, tank-business conflicts, team battles, historic conflicts and clan conflicts.

Arbitrary conflicts
There are 3 kinds of arbitrary conflict; Standard, Assault and Encounter. Players have the choice to be excluded from Assault, and Encounter conflicts. All arbitrary conflicts consist of two teams of 15 randomly chosen players on a randomly chosen map.

Standard
The aim will be to get the enemy flag/base or remove all enemy tanks within a quarter hour. If time expires it's a draw.

Assault
The attacking team has to gain the defending team's base or all enemy tanks are ruined. If time expires the defending team triumphs.

Encounter
Two teams fight to gain one impartial base or remove all enemy tanks within a quarter hour. If time expires it's a draw.

Team Conflict is the new game style in the 8.9 upgrade. It features game matchmaking based on ability, kills and time spent on servers.

Team Training
In this way, a player can make a room and choose the map to play. It can be determined to be open to the public, or by invitation. This mode is used for experiments with various tank mechanics, learning new maps, strategic planning and motion, and as a place to train others. There aren't any experience points or credits obtained in this mode and any repairs needed for vehicle are free except for expended shells and gear (consumables used).

Tank Business
A player can create a team in four divisions. Each division has distinct grade points condition. Firms can be found in 4 sections: Junior, Medium, Victor and Absolute.

Team Conflict
A brand new style introduced in patch 0.8.9, players can make their own teams or join teams made by others, either manually or via a new, unique matchmaking system. This mode uses the same principles as the popular 7/42 tournaments: 7 tanks maximum and 42 grade points maximum. Grade limitation for all tanks is grade 8. This mode has restricted map choice: Abbey, Ensk, Himmelsdorf, Steppes and a number of others. In patch 0.9.10, a lot more maps will be playable. A popular set up to go with is five grade 8 tanks and two grade 1's for scouting.

Family Fights
World of Tanks offers a exceptional conflict style called Clan Wars in which, for a reasonable quantity of gold, players can create their own Clan and fight with other buddies. On the Global Map, Clan Commanders can land on a state and attempt to get it (by fighting against other clans that have applied for touchdown) and then receive a particular amount of gold daily.

Tournaments

Players can compete in organized bracket-design tournaments of teams comprising a given variety of players using tanks of a given kind. Winners of the bracket receive gold, and in particular tournaments special awards including computer components.

Historic Conflicts
A brand new style added in patch 9.0, this game style is centered around conflicts that happened during World War II. They take place on a map most similar to the conflict's environment, and just contains armored vehicles used in said conflicts. The conflicts are fought with each nation, now only Germany and the USSR, having their own team. The quantity of tanks are strongly modeled to what the real numbers were in real life. As an example, having five German Tigers fighting ten Russian T34's. The modules and the quantity of each kind of ammo are strongly modeled to how they existed in real life. The player doesn't have to possess the modules of the tank or the ammo before going into conflict, the player pays the price for ammo up front, and is refunded the worth of the ammo not used in the conflict. The only demand is that the player has one of the tanks recorded for the present conflict chosen. Now, the only conflicts accessible to be reenacted are the Battle of Kursk, Operation Spring Awakening, and the Battle of the Bulge. The only maps in circulation for these conflicts are Prokhorovka and Erlenburg.

The game now models the effects of both armour and cover and contains more than 240 armored vehicles from the Soviet Union, Germany, Britain, France, China, Japan, and America.

The vehicles are modeled in 3D quite carefully, with attention paid towards visual truth,

World of Tanks has five distinct kinds of vehicles. These are: light tanks, moderate tanks, heavy tanks, tank destroyers (TDs), and self propelled guns (SPGs or "arty", brief for artillery).

Most tanks have a 360-level traversing turret, no matter the facing direction of the hull. Other tanks, largely TD's, SPGs, and some lower grade tanks, have restricted fields of fire. In order for these tanks to train another way, the tank's hull must traverse to face the direction of fire.

All vehicles are completely tracked, and cover the ages from soon after World War I through the early 1960s. The bulk are based on historic layouts, though some, including the German Maus and British TOG II, exclusively existed as models, and others, like the FV215b 183 only as design studies.

Tanks are broken up into seven countries: Soviet, German, American, French, British, Chinese, and Japanese. All tanks have pros and cons between their various counterparts (same vehicle sort of the exact same grade). Some tanks are more "well rounded" while other tanks may shine in specific places and fall short in others.

Clan wars

World of Tanks has executed a neverending effort with Clan Wars unfolding on the Global Map. The International Map with a specific portion of the Earth was added and split into specific states. Families, which consist of players with a maximum of up to 100 members, fight over these states on the overworld through specialized Universe of Tanks game conflicts. A family must have a minimum of 15 members to participate in Clan Wars.

Now, each area in which World of Tanks is based (i.e. North America, Russia etc.) has access only to a small segment of the world which they can strive to overcome, with the Russian server having the greatest number of land because of the majority of the player base existing within that state. In the course of time yet, other continents will be added so there will be the chance to rule the whole world.

Clan Wars is normally considered "endgame" content within World of Tanks, meaning that players wishing to take part must normally be exceptionally competitive and have one or more tanks at the Grade 10 degree. Distinct families have distinct conditions for new recruits yet, so the specifications for becoming involved in Clan Wars change considerably.

Customization
All vehicles can be customized to a particular level, either visually or with regard to functionality, with many parts (including tracks, firearms, turrets, and engines) being modular components bought from the game's considerable Tech tree.

Various two-tone and three-tone camouflage schemes are accessible for all tanks also, including both historically precise designs and game-unique, custom forms. Camo is accessible for temporary use (7 days or 30 days) by paying with freely brought in in-game credits, or for long-term use by paying with gold bought in the World of Tanks shop or won in an in game event. Players can set national flags, pre-constructed mottos, and disguise (that increases the probability of staying undetected).

All tanks can mount 3 pieces of added gear, which varies from vehicle to vehicle, and offers various advantages. Some gear enable the gun to fire faster, some increase the durability of specific portions of the vehicle, and some help keep the vehicle concealed while fixed.

Ultimately, each vehicle can take 3 consumables (single use items which have to be repurchased each time they're used. Examples of these contain repair kits, medical kits, and even Additional Rations that foster the tank's crew for the duration of one conflict.
